The challenge was to create a dynamic identity for a new interactive abstract museum in Vancouver.
The solution was an interactive brand, based on Rorschach Tests
(a psychological test in which subjects’ perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation), that adapts to the artist or event featured expressing their personality. A custom symbol set and algorithm were created with which users would input their name and have a logo selected based on it. This way the brand constantly renew and may have variations with infinite possibilities.
This project allowed me to mix my interest in interactive, branding and new art forms. Also, allowed the audience to be engaged by a piece that was interactive and unique to them.
This work was shortlisted for the 10th Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial
